Three late-Sunday afternoon links

First, the Browns win a big one and play the spoiler! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

Second, Mark Steyn talks about his new book America Alone. This is a must-listen interview.

Third, the GOP’s Man in the Senate is going to have his hands full.

UPDATE: Here is one more link, definitely worth reading.

I’m 1/2-way through Steyn’s book. Must. Read. Jarring stuff, but not hysterical. Anyone serious about the future of Western civilization ought to read it.

It’s also a great antidote to the currently-fashionable drivel of Jared Diamond. One liberal acquaintance, a Diamond expositor, recently gushed, “I generally find the most nuanced explanation the most persuasive, which is why I like Diamondd.”

    Mr. Diamond, meet Ockham’s razor.

I read the first couple chapters when I was home for Thanksgiving. Great book so far, although it is scary.

My Dad just finished the book and is incorporating some of Steyn’s points into his sermons. Should be interesting.

I need to pick up a copy and read it cover to cover.
