Speaker Pelosi’s endorsement and open lobbying for Rep. Murtha and her impending appointment of Rep. Hastings to chair the Intelligence Committee seems to indicate, to me at least, that “the most honest, and most open and most ethical Congress in history” has ended before it ever began.
